Abstract

The aim of this article is to reflect on the experience of the design and implementation of the Government Laboratory in the Chilean public sector. This paper reconstructs and analyzes the process undergone from the beginnings of the Laboratorio de Gobierno using the double diamond methodology. It identifies the main learnings that this experience offers for subsequent processes of innovation, which, broadly speaking implies the understanding that, to achieve paradigm shifts, it is required to understand cultural and structural dimensions where systemic logics integrate within the State which, moreover, allow for enough dynamism and flexibility to respond to the real needs of society
